The pile is usually paper or a messy export. The risk is not typing speed. It is a wrong figure that later becomes a bill, a stock count or a payroll input.
The office has a carton of bills or a year’s register. Staff can type it, and then they will not do admissions, dispatch or the counter. The carton stays. Months later someone needs a number that is still on paper.
We take a defined batch. A sample is typed and you correct the rules: which column, what to do with a blank, how a total should behave. The rest follows those rules. We compare totals to the source.
We do not invent missing figures. A smudged amount is flagged, not guessed. Guessing is how a typed file becomes worse than the paper.
Pages or rows, so done has a number
You confirm the rules on a small batch
Totals are compared, not only cells filled
The sheet or system you already use
The pile has no count, so the work never officially finishes.
Rules are explained halfway through, and the first half is wrong.
Typists guess unreadable numbers to keep a daily target.
The output is a new sheet the accountant cannot import.
Source papers are shared without anyone tracking what was sent.
We count the batch and quote that count.
A sample locks the rules before the full batch.
Unreadable fields are marked blank and listed. They are not invented.
The file matches the columns you already import.
You know which papers we have. We do not need more access than that batch.
A few pages, your corrections, a written rule for blanks and totals.
Price follows the volume and the care, not a vague “per month”.
Output in your format. Totals that do not match are listed.
You pick rows at random. We fix what fails the rule.
If you can give a login with only the access that job needs, yes. A sheet is often safer and is what we prefer unless the system is required.
Say so before you send it. The batch, who sees it, and when it is deleted are written down. Do not send a full patient or payroll export to a general enquiry and assume that conversation has happened.
We type what is there and flag what is unreadable or inconsistent. Cleaning rules are extra and need you to decide what “correct” means.
It clears a backlog. If new paper is created every day, the lasting fix is the product that stops the paper. We will say which.

Teams buy a tool, then run the real work in Excel beside it. Custom software is the flow you actually have, scoped before it is built.

The store, the floor and the dispatch each keep a count. Manufacturing software issues material to a job and receives the finished quantity back.

Late fees, unmarked attendance and parents calling the office. How school software puts dues, attendance and updates in one place.
